in bloom

i am so thrilled with the spring blooms in our yard this year. last spring, we didn't get to see anything bloom in our yard because everything was so overgrown and covered in brush. we spent weekend after weekend after weekend on yard work last summer, and it is definitely paying off now --with spring blooms that we can see! so far, i have found lilacs (which smell amazing!), and dogwood trees.
